Welcome!

On December 5th, 2007, Sun announced its first annual Open Source Community Innovation Awards Program. Each of six open source communities was given $175,000 to foster innovation and recognize some of the most interesting initiatives and contributions within the community. As one of the chosen six, OpenSolaris, and the leaders of this community project, are proud to present the OpenSolaris Community Innovation Awards and the Undergraduate Student Research Grant programs of 2008.
